Wet Saw Blades

If you use wet saw blades in a dry situation, you will greatly reduce the life span of the blade. However, if you use a dry blade with water, you will actually add to its durability. The two types of blade are designed entirely differently and are effective in entirely different situations.

Wet saw blades have a diamond matrix that is brazed or laser welded to the core, as opposed to dry blades that have a matrix that is laser welded. Wet saw blades require water to cool and lubricate a cut. If water isn\'t used, too much heat is generated thereby causing the blade to lose tension and become unusable. Wet blades generally have a harder bond than dry blades, but there are wet blades that can be used to cut hard and soft (abrasive) materials.

At BargainBlade.com, we carry a wide range of wet saw blades that can be used to cut granite, concrete, marble, and other materials. You will find blades that offer you different cutting speeds and wear rates. Regardless of those traits, though, all of our products are top-of-the-line, professional grade tools. Along with wet saw blades, we also carry wet diamond pads and wet grinders that allow you to put a highly polished finish on any project.

If you have questions about specific wet saw blades or you are trying to determine which type of blade is right for your current project, you can contact us at 1-800-938-0051. If you are ready to get started, you can order all of your materials online, and they will usually ship on the same day if ordered before noon Pacific Time.
