At BargainBlade.com, our standard porcelain/stone continuous rim and ceramic continuous blades are designed specifically for cutting tile. Whether your project involves ceramic wall tile, saltillo, or tecate tile, or hard procelain floor tile our blades will provide you with smooth, steady cutting. Our cutting tile blades will wear properly, so you will not experience any loss in cutting speed during a project.
When you are cutting tile, it is imperative that you use the proper blade. Many people are under the belief that all diamond blades are created in the same way. This, of course, is not true. If you use a hard bond blade on a hard material, grit will wear out before it is released. This means that as the grit on the exposed edge of the blade fractures, the new layer of grit will be quite dull. Even if this does not eliminate your ability to cut, it will greatly reduce your cutting speed.
We have an extensive collection of both wet and dry blades. Generally, dry blades have a softer bond, and they allow easy cutting without the use of water. You can use a dry blade wet in tile projects. Using a dry blade with water will actually extend the life of the blade. However, the inverse is not true, so if you choose to use a wet blade without water, you will greatly reduce its durability.
